FAQ
Coconut Milk Formula
What makes Coconut Oil good for my skin?
Coconut oil is considered by many to be nature's healthiest oil. It is chemically composed of natural lipids which make it extremely nourishing and moisturizing. Coconut Oil has highest topical concentration of lauric acid, a long chain fatty acid, which not only gives it superior emollient properties but has been shown to soothe irritation and have slight anti-microbial properties. It also has a high content of antioxidants that help protect against damaging free radicals to keep skin looking supple and youthful.
What is the difference between Coconut Milk and Coconut Oil?
Palmer’s Coconut Milk Formula Body Butter contains both coconut oil and Pure Coconut Milk. In the extraction process fresh coconut meat is grated and pressed to produce the coconut milk. Pure coconut oil, is then acquired by separating the oil from the other particles in the milk. The natural silicones in Coconut Milk work synergistically with Certified Organic coconut oil to create the most superior skin moisturizer.
How should I use this product?
As with most body butter formulas, the consistency is much creamier and richer than a lotion. Therefore we recommend using on skin that is especially drier than normal. It is great for rougher areas like knees, elbows, feet and hands, but can be used all over body. For an alternate use, apply to feet and cover with socks before bed. In the morning your feet will be buttery soft!
